Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative Grantee

Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (Amount: $2,000,000*)

The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections will target high-risk young offenders in both rural and urban communities, including Cochise, Maricopa, Mohave, Pima, Pinal, and Yuma Counties. The program’s services will include substance abuse treatment, comprehensive educational training, employment training, job placement assistance, restorative justice initiatives, case management and supervision, mental health services, medical services, transitional housing assistance, family counseling, and extensive community resource referrals.
