Serious and Violent Offender Reentry Initiative Grantee

Wisconsin Department of Corrections (Amount: $2,000,000*)

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections will enhance and expand existing reentry services through a collaborative partnership with various state and local agencies (including corrections, law enforcement, employment, social services, education, and housing) and community and faith-based organizations. Wisconsin’s initiative will provide institutional and community-based transition services to offenders ages 14–25 who are returning to the community from the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections’ Division of Juvenile Corrections. The initiative will focus on Milwaukee and Brown Counties.
